NATURE (ARCHITECTURE) H.BEING

Architecture is a filter between two concepts of space: interior and exterior, which have to communicate on multiple levels, physical and sensory. It must act as container and not as content, since it exists only in function of man and does not end in itself.

The rise to fame.

The way is the same for all of them: starting from the bottom and pointing to the top, the goal is to become immortal divas.

The exhibition is a path, developed through spots (1.Entrance, 2.Makeup & dressing room, 2.Photo set, 3.Exhibition, 5.Exit), that involves the visitor in an initiatory process through which it identifies itself in the starlet who lives in the backstage preparing for the exhibition.

The uphill red carpet represents the difficulty of advancing in the world of entertainment and leads the visitor to separate from the ground and walk a catwalk that advancing turns into a stage, while the curtains, ephemeral separation between show and reality, creates a perimeter more "ideal"  than material.

The images of the starlets, stored as meteors in the memory of the star system, rise again in the last hall of the exhibition as spectators, and see the stage walk by the visitor who realizes to be the protagonist of a show, where he is in the center of the scene, in a game where the roles are reversed: the public becomes the artist and the artist becomes the public.

CASA H.

Contemporary reinterpretation of a "Hanok" traditional Korean dwelling. The house rests on a stone base that raises it from the ground and creates a gap inside which the floor heating system is located. The floor and the wooden ceiling are symmetrical, separated by the pillars of the main structure and the external panels. The internal partitions remain separate from the wooden ceiling to get the feeling of a large single space. The inner-outer connection is mediated by the gallery that run along the perimeter of the house.

CASA S.

Independent villa that comes fron an ancient archetype of home. The stilt house, originally a refuge from the insidious nature, is reinterpreted as a building separated from the ground, as if it had dropped from above, giving way to those who live in to feel suspended  between sky and earth. The raised platform develops into a large terrace designed to allow paths and access to the entire perimeter of the house, ensuring maximum freedom of movement. The interior spaces consist of a central service block that serves as a filter and center of gravity, while there are no other fixed walls besides it, as the rooms are separated by passageways that can be moved to vary the size and the configuration of the sleeping area.

CASA V.

A holiday home designed like a boat where paths run on the inner and outer perimeter. On the "bow" area located the sleeping rooms and in the "stern" area the living/dining room which opens onto the large open deck. Depending on the configuration of the sleeping area, it is possible to accommodate two to four people.

CASA F.

This housing unit was designed to accommodate three students. In order to optimize spaces and functions, bedrooms can also become a temporary study place thanks to the desks running behind the bed head. In addition to facilitating mobility and increasing space perception, the cabinets of the rooms were replaced with shelves hidden by mobile curtains.

CASA P.

Renovation and extension operation with a winter garden and a terrace. The ante-operam building consisted of a building built in the first post-war period and developed on two floors. The project redefined the interior spaces by creating two independent units and integrating the new volumes of expansion with the preexisting ones.

CASA Q.

Restyling a two-level home for a young couple. The house is mainly built on the mezzanine, where are located the kitchen, the living room, the office, the bathroom and the double bedroom. The need to have a filter between the bedroom and the closet, and the desire to reinterpret the night space, led to the insertion of a headboard for the bed that fulfills a dual function creating an additional storage space and a fifth that becomes a dressing room. The kitchen/dining space that was first divided between the kitchenette and the dining room was unified in a large unitary space. Upstairs, the project has foreseen the renovation of the attic with the insertion of a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

RESIDENZE C/L

Social housing project based on a functional mix between residence and commercial neighborhoods. A continuous interaction between public space (street), mixed public-private (commercial) and private (homes) establishes a dynamic use of space and the interrelationship between people capable of generating an identity, a soul of the places.
